Key Highlights

Students Advocate for Change Through Petitions: Students submitted their drafted petitions to ward counsellors, addressing concerns around waste management in their community, demonstrating awareness, responsibility, and active civic participation.

Community Engagement Through Clean-Up Drive: Students actively participated in the Swachh Survekshan clean-up drive led by Kozhikode Corporation at Nadhinagar Beach, contributing to environmental conservation while building teamwork and a sense of ownership towards their surroundings.

Arduino Day Makes Technology Accessible: As part of Arduino Day 2026, iLAB introduced community children to basic electronics and block coding, making technology learning engaging and accessible while encouraging logical thinking and innovation.

STEM Innovation Sessions Strengthen Scientific Thinking: Students strengthened scientific thinking through hands-on activities such as building a popsicle stick catapult and exploring the working of an automatic hand dispenser, enhancing curiosity, problem-solving, and real-world application of science concepts.

Special Days Build Environmental Awareness: World Water Day and Wildlife Day were observed through interactive sessions and activities, helping students understand the importance of conservation, sustainability, and protecting natural resources.

Fellows Connect, Reflect, and Grow: Fellows came together for an Iftar gathering, fostering connection and inclusivity, followed by a learning circle that created space for quick reflection on the year’s experiences and learnings.

Health Awareness Session for Parents: A Gynecological Cancer Awareness Program was conducted for parents, creating awareness on early detection, prevention, and the importance of regular health check-ups, while encouraging open conversations around women’s health and well-being.

Theatre Sessions Build Confidence and Expression: Through theatre classes, students developed confidence, communication skills, and self-expression while engaging in creative and collaborative learning experiences.

MissionTen

This month, MissionTen focused on supporting students during their final examinations through exam-oriented revision and peer learning. The Skill Hub served as a key space for collaborative study, doubt clarification, and focused preparation. As the academic year came to a close, the month reflected students’ dedication, consistent effort, and successful completion of their exams.

This month, we strengthened implementation by aligning mentors to student interests and launching Level 2 of DTLP
