CEEM Activities in a nutshell - January 2026

  • Total Regular Sessions - 111
  • Special Activity Sessions - 14
  • Parent Engagement Programs - 2
  • Fellow Development Programs - 6
  • Learning activities on nature conservation: Students understood how oceans were formed and why seawater is salty, while improving observation, questioning, and evidence-based thinking skills.
  • Exploration through STEM: Students strengthened scientific thinking by applying concepts of light, reflection, and electric circuits through hands-on experimentation, enhancing problem-solving, logical reasoning, and interest in STEM learning.
  • Theatre Group Formation: Students developed confidence, communication, teamwork, and stage presence while preparing for a public performance.
  • Once in a lifetime moment with Sunita Williams at KLF: We took students to KLF to meet Sunitha Williams. Students were inspired to explore science and space careers, building curiosity, motivation, and confidence to dream big.
  • Efforts to strengthen Parent - Child Bond: Parents and children strengthened communication, trust, and emotional bonding through shared activities and reflection.
  • Elevating Facilitation & Coordination: Fellows and coordinators collaborated to share strategies, improve planning, and align operations, boosting student learning outcomes and the smooth functioning of Learning Hubs.

Project MissionTen - Monthly Overview

MissionTen concentrated fully on academics this month. Children attended exam-focused and revision classes, and peer learning went very well. During their free time, they came to the Skill Hub to continue learning from each other, while fellows volunteered extra sessions to provide additional guidance and support.

Project Akkare - Monthly Overview

This month, Akkare conducted three sessions focused on building aspiration and  higher education related goals. Children participated in an intelligence test, self-introductions, and explored opportunities for further studies and future career paths.

Pebbles

  • Total 11 Sessions
  • 16.5 Learning Hours

This month, the Pebbles program introduced Communicative English sessions along with simple daily-life habits for practice. The children grew more confident in expressing themselves, happily sharing their thoughts in English and practicing communication skills they can use every day.

DTLP 2.O

In January, DTLP 2.0 hosted engaging sessions on Information Literacy, Introduction to Video Editing, and The Art of Designing: Vision to Reality 2.0, equipping participants with essential digital and design skills. The Skill-A-Thon provided hands-on practice and assessed participants’ abilities across tools like Figma, Canva, and Google Workspace. The month concluded with an Exposure Visit to TinkerHub, giving participants practical experience in AI, electronics, and 3D design, inspiring creativity and real-world learning.

  • Learning Hours - 24 hrs
  • Information Literacy Session: Participants developed a strong understanding of phishing, cybercrime, and data security, and enhanced their critical thinking and ability to identify digitally manipulated content, practicing safe and responsible online behaviour.
  • Graphic Design L3 Session : Participants gained a foundational understanding of design principles, enhanced creative thinking, and developed skills to analyze, critique, and improve visual designs.
  • Introduction to Video Editing :Participants gained practical skills in video editing, mastering CapCut tools, effects, overlays, and techniques to create professional-quality digital content.
  • Figma Design Session : Participants enhanced their digital design skills, explored Figma’s tools and collaboration features, and demonstrated creativity through hands-on design projects.
  • The Art of Designing: Vision to Reality 2.0 : Participants developed a strong foundation in design thinking, UI/UX principles, and collaborative digital design, gaining practical skills in app interface creation, prototyping, and teamwork using Figma.
  • Skill-A-Thon : Participants strengthened their practical skills across tools like Google Sheets, Figma, Canva, Google Sites, and Google Docs, improved time management and content quality, and demonstrated teamwork and problem-solving in a hands-on, competitive environment.
  • Exposure Visit to TinkerHub :  Participants gained hands-on experience in emerging technologies, including AI, electronics, and 3D design and printing. They developed practical skills in circuit simulation, AI tool usage, and 3D modeling, enhancing their understanding of real-world tech applications and fostering curiosity, experimentation, and problem-solving.

DTLP Level 3

DTLP Level 3 participants attended advanced graphic design sessions, learning key design concepts and digital tools. They practiced creating designs and exploring collaboration features. The sessions enhanced their creativity and practical design skills.

As we close the month of January, our hearts are full. This month gave us warmth, conversations, learning, and small moments that reminded us why we do this work. We feel genuinely happy about how January unfolded.
