Empowered women, thriving communities.
CLAP empowers women to become entrepreneurs and community leaders, building economic strength and social support systems through upskilling and mentorship.
CLAP is designed to help women in coastal communities turn their talents and hard work into real opportunities. We start by listening—visiting homes, meeting with local leaders, and understanding what women want for themselves and their families. Through life skills workshops, theatre-based sessions, and expert talks, participants gain the confidence and practical know-how to start small businesses, manage money, and even become community leaders. Our sessions are lively, supportive, and filled with real stories from women who’ve walked the same path.

The heart of CLAP is about creating lasting change. We help women form self-help groups, connect with mentors, and access digital tools at our Skill Hub. Special training sessions—like eco-friendly pen making or embroidery—give women hands-on skills they can use right away. As women grow in confidence and start earning, they inspire others, creating a ripple effect of empowerment and hope throughout the community. CLAP isn’t just about jobs—it’s about building a future where every woman feels strong, independent, and proud of what she can achieve.
